How many mediation sessions?

Each couple is different and has different needs, so there is no 'one size fits all' when it comes to timescales ...

Every couple has a MIAM meeting, and we could reasonably expect that for a very straightforward and non-contentious separation, with a couple able to provide all the necessary documentation in a timely manner, that 2 or 3 mediation meetings would likely be enough to finalise agreements ready to take to advocates.

It isn't unreasonable though, if there are more complex issues. disagreements or a delay in the ability to provide the necessary documentation in a timely manner, for the mediation meetings needing to be around 4 or 5 in number before we are able to get to the point of agreements being ready to take to advocates.
